With 63,541 trade visitors from 169 countries and 6,537 exhibitors representing 63 nations, Wine Paris 2026 has reached a new milestone, more than ever establishing itself as the global epicentre of wines and spirits. Driven by a 20.75% increase in international visitors and a 20% rise in exhibitors, the Paris event confirms its change of scale and its genuinely global dimension, with international participants accounting for 51% of attendance.

Against an economic backdrop shaped by market unpredictability and mounting trade tensions, the exhibition organised by Vinexposium has positioned itself as a strategic crossroads for the sector. Over three days, 112,462 industry professionals crossed paths in the aisles, illustrating the exceptional density of an ecosystem where decisions are made, negotiations conducted and business opportunities concentrated.

Commercial momentum proved particularly strong. No fewer than 25,958 meetings were pre-scheduled via the business matchmaking platform, representing a 28% increase, while the presence of leading international buyers rose by 20%. Producers, merchants, importers and distributors found in Paris a unique point of convergence to expand their markets and forge new partnerships. The loyalty of established industry leaders, combined with the arrival of new international players, further strengthens the exhibition’s growing appeal.

Beyond trade, Wine Paris also confirmed its status as a platform of influence. The 2026 edition brought together more than 400 public officials from France, across Europe and internationally. For the first time, the exhibition was inaugurated by the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, in the presence of French and foreign ministers, representatives of the European Commission and embassies from 37 countries. This mobilisation highlights the strategic dimension acquired by the event, now a structured forum for dialogue between the sector and institutions.

The Academy programme supported this upward trajectory with 239 conferences, panel discussions and masterclasses dedicated to geo-economic challenges, free trade agreements, US tariffs, brand strategies and international market dynamics.

With media coverage up 25%, driven by 1,894 journalists from 49 countries, Wine Paris confirms its global reach. The next edition is already scheduled for 15 to 17 February 2027, with the ambition of continuing this international momentum and consolidating Paris’s role as an essential marketplace and platform of influence for wines and spirits.
