WEINGUT GRAF NEIPPERG
A centuries old winemaking heritage in the heart of Württemberg

Located in Schwaigern, in southwestern Germany, Weingut Graf Neipperg is one of the oldest and most emblematic estates in Württemberg. The family of the Counts von Neipperg has been cultivating vines since the 13th century and remains deeply rooted in the region’s viticultural history. The ancestral castle still overlooks the hillsides, a symbol of a heritage passed down without interruption.
The estate covers around 31 hectares and lies on a mosaic of soils such as keuper, clay limestone and loess, which offer remarkable diversity of expression. These ancient geological formations give the wines precision, natural freshness and a distinctive identity. The well exposed slopes encourage steady, balanced ripening, essential to achieving the aromatic finesse the estate seeks.
The flagship grape is Lemberger (Blaufränkisch), historically associated with the family, although the estate also produces Riesling, Spätburgunder, Muskateller and Weißburgunder. Under the stewardship of Karl Eugen Graf von Neipperg, the estate combines tradition with modern precision. The aim is clear: to craft sincere, transparent wines shaped by their terroir, supported by meticulous winemaking and a constant pursuit of elegance. The Lemberger cuvées, particularly those from the Schloßberg vineyard, regularly stand out for their finesse, balance and ageing potential. The white wines shine through their freshness and aromatic brightness.
Weingut Graf Neipperg remains a leading reference in Württemberg, where history, exacting standards and the expression of terroir meet.
