Zeni, Fef collection – i Filari del Nino 2019 – Bardolino Classico

The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration, a certain richness as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of plum, violet and small notes of Boysenberry associated with small varietal touches, ripe wild red berries, olive leaf, dry local grove as well as discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, suave, beautifully juicy and offers a small freshness, gourmandize, a good definition, concentration as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, fleshy / juicy cherry and small notes of violet, fresh local grove associated with touches of small fleshy / crushed red berries, pulpy Boysenberry as well as slight hints of black tea, olive leaf, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of fresh almond (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
