The nose is fruity, fresh, precise and offers a nice elegant grain as well as a certain finesse. There are notes of fresh strawberry, fresh/crunchy berries and more lightly of violet combined with fine touches of cocoa, cardamom and a discreet hint of vanilla and fresh saffron (floral side). The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals minerality, good definition, a certain juiciness, a fine chiselled edge and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh red berry and more lightly fresh violet notes combined with delicate touches of terroir as well as a discreet hint of sense of place, fresh tobacco and a subtle hint of fresh rosemary/sap. The tannins are very discreetly tight. Good length.
