The nose is aromatic, fine, concentrated and quite elegant. It reveals notes of sour cherry, red cherry and Quetsche plum jam associated with slight notes of raspberry, blackberry, chocolate, tea as well as slight notes of tobacco and oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, relatively gourmande and offers freshness and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, raspberry, cherry and juicy strawberry associated with fine notes of cocoa, oak, caramelization as well as discreet hints of Bourbon vanilla and tobacco. Tannins are fine, elegant, firm and slightly young. Good length.
