The nose is powerful, concentrated and intense. It reveals notes of cassis, bell pepper and blackberry associated with small notes of mocha, toasted oak as well as discreet notes of Ceylon tea, graphite and a discreet touch of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, sleek, mineral, round, well-balanced, silky and offers a small freshness, a mineral frame, fat and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, redcurrant, cassis and fine notes of Quetsche plums associated with slight notes of raspberry, chocolate / cocoa, toasted oak, caramelization and discreet touches of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and (very) slightly firm.
