Whisky Vilanova – Cuvée Berbie – Pur Malt – Single Cask 

The nose is aromatic, intense and offers a fine elegance. It reveals notes of Williams pear, mountain flowers and small notes of white fruits in syrup, fresh cherry combined with touches of spice, malt, a hint of heather, a subtle hint of licorice as well as a very discreet hint of cinnamon and an imperceptible touch of peppermint. The palate is fine, well-balanced, fruity / aromatic and offers a fine acid frame, suavity, elegance, a fine unctuosity, a fine tension, gourmandise as well as a nice definition / guideline. On the palate this Whiskey expresses notes of compoted Williams pear, caramel apple and fine notes of crushed quince, resin associated with fine touches of pâtisseries, cherry, candied lemon / sweet mandarin, toasted wood, malt, minerality as well as a subtle touch of spices and almond. Good length.
