The nose is beautifully structured, floral, intense, and offers a certain power, precision as well as a certain deepness. It reveals notes of flat peach, pulpy apple and small notes of ripe citrus fruits associated with a hint of rose, peach blossoms and a sense of place (local biotope). The palate is beautifully structured, supple, precise, fair and offers roundness, fatiness, a good definition as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lychee, juicy/ripe citrus fruits (lemon, mandarin) and small notes of kumquat associated with touches of Granny Smith apple as well as fine hints of flint. Beautiful tangy and incisive/vibrant finish. A hint of good bitterness and ripe pip. Superb persistence over 9 caudalies.
