The wine has a lemon-yellow color of medium intensity. The nose offers depth and complexity. It expresses fragrant floral notes (apple blossom, acacia, rosehip), combined with notes of fresh citrus fruits (ripe yellow lemon, grapefruit), candied lemon peel, fresh yellow peach, fresh quince, a touch of melon, as well as delicate spicy notes (ground clove, cumin, nutmeg) and slight herbaceous touches (tea leaf, peppermint, dried grass), as well as a subtle minerality (dry stone, slightly smoky) and a touch of honey in the background. On the palate, the wine offers depth, maturity and power, combined with a nice freshness and salivating acidity. It expresses notes of lime juice, lime zest, grapefruit, green apple, gooseberries, fresh quince, as well as an elegant floral perfum (field flowers, acacia, apple blossoms, wild rose) and herbaceous notes (lemon verbena, cut grass). There is also a slightly smoky mineral touch in the background. The finish is persistent, chiseled, on the acidulous notes of citrus zest (lime, grapefruit), good bitterness and a pleasantly spicy touch of cloves and cumin.
