The wine demonstrates a pale golden-straw colour, clear and shiny. The nose is powerful and intense with a lot of smokiness and a slight kerosene note. It reveals nuances of yellow apples, pears, notes of beeswax and paraffin. The nose seems a bit more developed than one expects from the wine of this age. The palate offers some juiciness, a bright fruit combined with a distinct bitter touch. Notes of yellow apples and pears interlace with hints of pomelo, grapefruit zest and dried herbs. The finish reveals the same particular bitterness and waxiness.
