The wine demonstrates a pale lemon-green colour. The nose is delicate but profound and complex, revealing nuances of jasmine, ripe peach, a touch of candied pineapple, grapefruit zest and lime pith. The palate is direct and steely, bone-dry and even slightly austere with its searing acidity. We find notes of lime zest, a touch of green apple, crunchy, almost underripe quince, a lot of salinity and minerality, delicate nuances of smoke and wet stones. The finish is lingering with smoky, saline undertones. A great wine with a lot of ageing potential.
