The wine shows a shiny, crystalline pale straw colour with a silver hue. The nose is smoky, revealing notes of struck match, roasted sunflower seeds, a touch of yellow apple, dried herbs and warm chalk. The palate is dense, saline, tangy and grippy, with a lot of elegance combined with depth and complexity. The wine is packed with salinity and smokiness, nuances of dried herbs, a touch of spices, delicate notes of oyster shells, almost unperceivable hints of yellow orchard fruits which support the overall mineral character of the wine. The finish is lingering with umami and chalky undertones.
