The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, gourmandize as well as a fine peppery side. It reveals notes of crushed raspberry, pulpy/fleshy blue plum and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with fine hints of zan /star anise. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers pulpiness, a certain gourmandize as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/tangy raspberry and small notes of juicy/crunchy blue plum associated with touches of camphor, tonka bean as well as fine toasted hints and nutmeg. Tannins are sapid and mellow. Good length. Energy!
