The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with garnet reflections. The nose is reserved at first, but opens after aeration. It expresses elegant and integrated tertiary aromas (undergrowth, white truffle, wet leaves, black tea), associated with tangy touches of citrus (bergamot, dried blood orange peel), a savoury spiciness (liquorice, clove, cumin, nutmeg), as well as floral notes (dried rose, dried peony, iris), herbaceous hints (dried mint, dried basil, rosemary, pine needles) and a gourmand fruitiness (fresh morello cherry, dried red cherry, dried raspberry, crunchy strawberry, dried blackcurrant, blueberry, cranberries). We also find a delicate minerality in the background (graphite, limestone). The palate offers a juicy, pure and silky attack. It expresses the fruitiness of the wine (flavors of morello cherry, dried red cherry, crunchy strawberry, dried raspberry, raspberry coulis, crushed blackcurrant, blueberry), which are complemented in the mid-palate by notes of mint pepper, pine needles, rosemary, fresh basil, thyme, dried rose and violet, as well as touches of nutmeg, liquorice, cumin and clove. Delicate tertiary notes (white truffle, undergrowth, wilted flowers) and a mineral frame (graphite) appear at the end of the palate, accompanied by gourmand notes of cocoa, sweet coffee, tea with bergamot and cherry in chocolate. The tannins are firm, grippy, but fine. Beautiful salivating and refreshing acidity. An expressive, flavorful wine with good aging potential.
