The nose is fruity and offers a certain purity of fruit as well as good definition. It reveals notes of bright cassis, bright blackberry and small notes of bright purple plum associated with hints of gray pepper, lily as well as a subtle hint of tobacco and tonka bean. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, nice fatness as well as tension in the mouth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of violet, bright/fresh blackcurrant, juicy/bright blackberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of fresh blond tobacco, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of clove, liquorice and a subtle hint of almost toast. The tannins are racy. Good length.
