Vite Colte, La Casa In Collina 2015 – Barbaresco

Vite Colte, La Casa In Collina 2015 – Barbaresco

The nose is aromatic and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cornflowers, small blue berries and small notes of small wild fruits, crushed wild cassis associated with touches of Cuben pepper, racy minerality, spices as well as a very discreet hint of scrubland, toasted hint, cocoa and vanilla / sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers tension, a bit aerial side, a mineral frame, a good freshness as well as a slight suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of red berries, ripe cherry and small notes of cassis / elderberries associated with small touches of blackberry, Zan, tobacco as well as an imperceptible touch of cedar and tonka bean. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. A very slight chew and gourmandise on the finish.
