Vista Alegre – Vintage 2016, Single Estate – Porto

The nose is aromatic, powerful, spicy and offers intensity. It reveals notes of crushed plum, blueberry and gray pepper combined with touches of sour cherry, ripe strawberry as well as discreet hints of olive, rosemary / thyme, spices and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmande, suave and offers a fine acidulous frame, a small juiciness, power, a good structure, concentration, a beautiful straightness, a beautiful guideline, a small linear side, generosity as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed plum, crushed blackberry and small notes of black cherry associated with touches of raspberry jam, caramelized orange as well as touches of liquorice, olives, grove, slight touches of chocolate and a hint of gray pepper. Good length.
