Virginie de Valandraud 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is aromatic, spicy and offers a certain width, a nice peppery nuance, depth, concentration, fruit and a certain power. It expresses notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of blueberry associated with notes of liquorice, morello cherry as well as discreet hints of camphor, vanilla, as well as a creamy hint. The palate is nicely built, fresh, fruity, supple, elegant, delicate, and offers purity, a nice chiseled structure. It expresses notes of boysenberry, pulpy plum and small notes of bright morello cherry associated with touches of bright strawberry, chocolate, toasted, toasted hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are mellow and sapid. Chewy, a nice creaminess, delicate, silky and airy.
