The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is pure, fruity and precise, with a savoury note of black pepper, which opens the bouquet. It expresses the aromas of ripe and juicy black fruits (morello cherry, blackberry, a hint of crushed blackcurrant), associated with notes of tangy red fruits (raspberry, ripe red cherry) and a gourmet touch of crushed wild strawberry. There are also savoury notes of aromatic herbs (crushed wild mint, fresh bay leaf, fresh thyme, dried rosemary, sweet blond tobacco), dark chocolate, toasted almond (even caramelized almond), as well as liquorice and a sweet hint of crushed vanilla, associated with a touch of toast and iris. The palate is enveloping and concentrated, but airy and juicy. It expresses notes of fresh fruit (morello cherry, red cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, crushed blackcurrant, blackberry, a hint of blueberry), combined with herbaceous freshness (wild mint, fresh thyme, a hint of rosemary), integrated spicy and roasted hints, which bring complexity to the bouquet with flavors of sweet coffee, toasted hazelnut, cocoa, liquorice, as well as a hint of black pepper in the background. The finish is sapid and expressive: the wine develops on toasted, chocolateyflavours, as well as notes of dried cherry and roasted aromatic herb. The acidity is fresh, salivating. The tannins are firm, but fine and enveloped.
