Vini Tola – Grillo 2020 – Sicilia IGT

The nose is elegant and offers gourmandize, a certain richness (that is rightly managed) and a very slight oxidative side (assumed). It reveals notes of pulpy apricot, beeswax and small notes of crushed small yellow fruits combined with fine hints of quince and a discreet hint of fresh hazelnut/biscuit. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, a fine richness as well as an oxidative side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of mirabelle plum, kumquat and small notes of quince associated with slight hints of lemon as well as slight hints of fresh orange blossom, beeswax, a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut and butter. Good length. Sapid persistence and palatability. A discreet tannic hint on the finish.
