The nose is fine, powerful, concentrated and incisive. It reveals notes of Sichuan pepper, blueberry and slight notes of plum, ripe red fruits and small touches of flowers as well as hints of spices and a very discreet alcohol hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight and offers a slight mineral frame, a slight acidity as well as a beautiful silky and slightly unctuous matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy fleshy blackberry, juicy fleshy cassis and slight notes of fleshy red berries associated with a hint of flowers, plum as well as touches of spices, Sichuan peppper, chocolate and flower. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. Good persistence. There are a subtle hint of bitterness and a subtle hint of pepper on the finish.
