The wine has a pale ruby color. The first nose expresses slight meaty and smoky notes, which develop toards savoury notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, white pepper, liquorice, ground cumin), fruits (wild strawberries, roasted red cherries, redcurrant jelly). red, crushed raspberry and morello cherry), flowers (peony, iris, rose petals). There is also a herbaceous touch of pine needles and dried mint. On the palate, the wine is silky, subtly spicy and expresses a beautiful fruitiness with volume and freshness. We find the flavors of crushed bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed raspberry, redcurrant jelly and crushed blueberry, combined with notes of liquorice, white pepper and nutmeg, peony, iris, peppermint and fresh tobacco in the background. The finish is persistent and gourmand, with sweet notes of cherry in chocolate. Lively acidity, roundness, gourmandise and well-structured tannins. A balanced, lively, fresh and savoury wine.
