On the nose, fruity, slightly tight and offers tension, some concentration and a fine structure. Fleshy blackberry, fleshy black currant and subtle tones of violet notes are combined with hints of wild strawberry, crushed red berries as well as wafts of dark chocolate, fine black tea and toasted/caramelized. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, nice definition, moderate gourmandize, minerality as well as a little tension and acidity. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant and subtle notes of violet associated with touches of small fleshy/crushed red berries as well as hints of tonka bean, dark chocolate, fine caramelization and hazelnut. The tannins are softly creamy.
