The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic and roasted at the opening. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, roasted bouquet garni and roasted red plum. Then we find aromas of fresh red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, blueberry, associated with notes of dried mint, liquorice, nutmeg, white pepper and tonka bean in the background, as well as toasted notes (toasted almond, cocoa nibs, smoke) and a mineral hint (limestone, earthy). The palate is lively, with a chiseled and fruity attack (red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, red currant). We then find spicy flavors (liquorice, nutmeg, tonka bean), herbaceous (wild mint, blackcurrant leaf) and toasted (toasted almond, cocoa, coffee). The tannins are fine, envelopped in a salivating acidity. Good bitterness of bergamot on the persistence, with a sappy hint.
