Villa Mattieli 2018 – Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie DOC

The nose is fresh, crunchy and offers a small complexity as well as a fine flowery side. It reveals notes of peach, pink lychee and small notes of fresh / ripe grapefruit associated with fine touches of mandarin, rose as well as a very discreet hint of apple and an imperceptible hint of verbena. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, frank, airy and offers a juicy / acidulous side, a beautiful minerality, tension, a good precision, gourmandize as well as a fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of vine peach, pink lychee and small notes of ripe / fresh pink grapefruit associated with a touch of zest, lemon as well as hints of mandarin blossom, lemon blossom and a subtle hint of verbena (in the background). Good persistence. There is a very discreet varietal hint on persistence.
