The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a certain concentration and freshness in its fruity material. It expresses notes of red cherry, morello cherry, red plum and crushed raspberry, combined with minty notes of fresh wood and sap in the background, as well as fresh rosemary and pine needles. There are also notes of liquorice, rose petals and peony in the background, combined with a hint of chocolate and toasted hazelnut. The palate is tight, with a lively tangy frame and a good bitterness (cranberries, bird cherry). There are also flavors of juicy fruits (raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, a hint of morello cherry), notes of spices (white pepper, liquorice) and a hint of toast (coffee, toasted almond). The tannins are well-structured, firm but not drying, balanced by a mouth-watering acidity. Good length with notes of tangy red fruits and dried herbs.
