The nose is fruity and offers freshness, good definition and a very fine intensity in its grain. There are notes of morello cherry, plum and, to a lesser extent, lily, combined with hints of camphor/graphite and fine hints of clove and tonka bean. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidic frame and a discreet but good work on the bitter taste. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/ripe blackberry, fairly ripe blackcurrant and more slightly violet notes combined with hints of lily, plum blossom, clove and fine tonka bean and tobacco. A fine powdery finish. The tannins are discreetly marked. A discreet hint of undergrowth on the finish.
