Villa Dria – Ronde des Fruits 2019 – Côtes de Gascogne IGP

The nose is fruity, precise and offers a certain generosity, a small intensity as well as a small freshness. It reveals notes of bright red berries, bright strawberry, small notes of blueberry associated with small touches of juicy/crunchy cherry, violet as well as fine hints of nutmeg, liquorice, a discreet hint of cornflower and an imperceptible hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a small tension, suavity as well as a fine fullness and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/bright redcurrant, small notes of violet associated with touches of crunchy strawberry as well as hints of juicy boysne berry, a discreet hint of liquorice stick and a subtle hint of racy minerality. Good length.
