The nose is aromatic, slightly powerful and offers a fine structure. It reveals notes of dried blackberry, crunchy cassis and slight touches of ripe wild raspberry combined with a touch of ripe bell pepper, slight touches of gray pepper, tobacco as well as a hint of nutmeg, ground forest and an imperceptible / discreet touch of mushroom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight gourmandise, a slight juiciness, a good balance as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of very ripe boysenberry and ripe redcurrants combined with slight / discreet touches of toasted oak, tobacco as well as subtle touches of undergrowth. Tannins are supple. Good length.
