The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The initial nose is savory, roasted, and toasted. It expresses notes of roasted coriander seeds, roasted bouquet garni, and roasted red cherry, combined with spicy touches of cumin, white pepper, and liquorice, as well as a hint of vanilla. There are also roasted notes (toasted wood, dark chocolate, coffee), juicy fruit (morello cherry, wild strawberry, blackberry, crushed raspberry), and a fine herbaceous touch (rosemary branch). The palate is airy, juicy, with a fruity and tangy attack. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, raspberry, morello cherry, as well as blackberry and blackcurrant in the background, combined with a fine roasted hint (roasted red cherry, roasted bouquet garni). The mid-palate offers notes of dark chocolate, toasted hazelnut, liquorice, and white pepper, combined with a hint of rosemary sprig. The tannins are fine-grained and velvety, yet solid and firm, without being drying. Good length with mouthwatering acidity and a good bitterness of cocoa and bergamot.
