The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful finesse and a very fine intensity. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed wild strawberry, wild berries associated with fine touches of gray pepper, flowers as well as a subtle hint of olive / laurel and fine hints of wood / cocoa (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, delicate, gourmande and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful suavity as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy /juicy raspberry, juicy redcurrant and small notes of cassis combined with a slight hint of crushed Quetsche plum, garrigue / olive as well as discreet hints of black olive, flowers, liquorice, vanilla and toasted / caramelized oak. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length.
