The wine shows a deep ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is vivid and intense, revealing nuances of sour red cherries, a touch of ripe forest raspberries and juicy strawberries, a hint of vanilla and sweet spices in the background. The palate is juicy, rich and enveloping, offering notes of crunchy red and black fruits, black plums, black cherries and raspberries supported by nuances of cinnamon and cloves. Elevated acidity supports perfectly the muscular structure of the wine leaving a fresh, succulent sensation on the palate. Bold tannins are well-managed and polished and will soften with bottle ageing. A vibrant, juicy finish with a pleasant bitter touch and good persistence.
