The nose is aromatic, powerful and offers concentration. It reveals notes of crunchy red berries, wild strawberry and flowers combined with hints of blackberry as well as touches of Sichuan pepper and granite. The palate is fruity, suave and offers juiciness, straightness, a good structure, an acid frame as well as crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of red berries, crunchy cherry and small notes of juicy cassis associated with touches of blackberry as well as subtle hints of flowers, racy minerality and a touch of spice. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length. The finish is slightly firm.
