Vignoble des Templiers, Eques – Laurens 2018 – Côtes du Rhône Villages, Roaix

The nose offers a spicy side and power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, grey pepper, small notes of dry local grove associated with small touches of red fruits, dry sage as well as hints of spices. The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers suavity, a small gourmandize, a fine fullness, freshness as well as a small acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, crushed red berries, small notes of cassis associated with touches of local grove, olive leaf, lily, cuben pepper, fine hints of minerality as well as fine varietal hint, chocolate and sage. Good length.
