The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a roasted side of fruit and density, even a textured side. It expresses aromas of wild strawberry, roasted red cherry, morellocherry jam, roasted blackcurrant, as well as roasted raspberry. After aeration, notes of Mediterranean aromatic herbs appear (dried thyme, rosemary, dried bay leaf), accompanied by a gravelly minerality and a fragrant floral bouquet (dried rose, lily, violet). There is also a very delicate note of nutmeg and dark chocolate in the background. The palate is greedy, juicy, with a fruity attack, even slightly sweet. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, strawberry jam, roasted red cherry, roasted raspberry, blackcurrant jam, as well as tangy black plum with a tannic side, cherry with kirsch. We also find notes of nutmeg, a hint of chocolate, dried rose, violet, a mineral touch of gravel and the freshness of Mediterranean herbs (thyme, rosemary, bay leaf), which return at the end of the mouth. A pleasant tangy side of bigarreau cherry on the persistence, beautiful acidity. The tannins are well structured, fine and tasty, slightly chocolatey.
