The nose is fresh, a bit tight and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry and small notes of small wild fruits associated with fine touches of spices and a hint of fresh leather. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small suavity, freshness, tension, energy, a fine acidulous frame as well as a very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cherry, juicy raspberry and small notes of fresh blackberry associated with touches of cassis, fresh flowers as well as a discreet hint of varietal and a very discreet hint of fresh tobacco. Presence of fine hints of liquorice / star anise on the finish / persistence.
