The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, power as well as complexity. It reveals notes of garrigue, ripe raspberry and ripe red berries combined with touches of flowers, blackberries as well as discreet touches of tobacco, sweet spices, Cuben pepper and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, a bit aerial and offers a slight mineral frame, a slight suavity, a slight juiciness, a slight freshness, tension as well as power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy red berries, fleshy / ripe cassis and touches of blueberry, olive associated with slight hints of liquorice, toasted wood, sweet spices, tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper cuben (in the background). Tannins are well-built and slightly chewy. There are slight hints of cocoa and olive tree on the finish / persistence.
