Vignamaggio – Cabernet Franc Di Vignamaggio 2019 – Toscana Cabernet Franc IGT

The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of small, quite ripe fruits, Sichuan pepper andsmall notes of infusion. Discreetly tight, it presents notes of small, quite ripe wild berries, graphene, black pepper and small notes of iris associated with a hint of oregano, sage and a subtle hint of smoke. The palate is mineral and offers a slight freshness, fine tension, a certain fatness and roundness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, small brilliant black berries and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of graphene, cocoa, smoke and a hint of camphor. Good length. A hint of toast and vanilla in the background. Chewy on the finish with a hint of crushed almond.
