Nice aromatic nose, which offers a fine grain, a fairly wide aromatic palette as well as a feeling of tension. There are notes of crushed cherry, bright strawberry, and small notes of star anise associated with touches of small crushed blue berries, and cherry blossom as well as hints of cassis, Bourbon vanilla, and a discreet hint almost of Ceylon tea. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, acidity, good definition, gourmandise, a certain tension, a slight richness, freshness and suavity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of chocolate, pulpy/crushed cherry and small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of chocolate as well as hints of Bourbon vanilla, crushed raspberry, toast and toasted hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are racy and offer a very fine softness. Presence of an imperceptible almost saline point in the background.
