Vigna Fiorini 2020, Vermentino Superiore, Maremma Toscana DOC

The nose is aromatic and offers a certain aromatic intensity as well as a lovely fine and intense grain. It reveals notes of quince, wild yellow berries and small notes of rosemary, dried garrigue / local garrigue associated with an iodized / marine character and a very discreet hint of honeysuckle (in the background). The palate is nicely built, fruity, iodized / saline, gourmand and offers juiciness, sapidity, minerality, a juicy / tangy frame, a good definition, suppleness, finesse as well as a nice elegance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of wild yellow berries, small dried yellow fruits, and small iodine notes associated with touches of crushed yellow apple, a subtle hint of honeysuckle, quite ripe lemon and delicate hints of aromatic herbs. A beautiful hints of bitterness. A lovely iodine and delicately creamy persistence. A very discreet hint of dried fruit.
