The nose is aromatic and offers a certain breadth as well as pulpy fruit. It reveals notes of bright yellow plum, bright small yellow fruits and small notes of ripe apricot combined with touches of crushed yellow apple, a hint of quince, as well as discreet hints of dried herbs, iodine, a subtle hint of verbena, and dry acacia wood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, sapidity, an iodine note as well as a fine gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of mandarin, tangy/juicy yellow plum, and small notes of crushed apple combined with touches of mandarin, verbena as well as a subtle hint of creamy small yellow fruits, dried almond and sage. A subtle tannic touch in the aromas and structure. Good length. Good persistence on the iodine. A good bitterness.
