(85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc) Nice gourmand, bright and fruity nose. We find notes of bright/fresh Bigarreau cherry, pulpy blackberry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of racy minerality, small bright red fruits as well as hints of fresh gray pepper and a subtle almost varietal hint/sage (in the background). The palate is nicely juicy, fresh, balanced and offers gourmandise, a nice brightness, tension, precision, a tangy frame, a certain aromatic purity as well as a graphite touch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright morello cherry, bright blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright raspberry, small red berries, small pulpy/bright blue fruits as well as hints of chocolate, toasted and crushed almond. Good length. A discreet hint of varietal in the background (brings freshness and peps).
