The nose is fresh, racy and reveals minerality. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, fresh berries and, more slightly, violets, combined with touches of fresh blackcurrant, crunchy berries and fine hints of fresh tobacco and racy minerality. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, acidity, fine tension, a little fluidity (in the background) and a slight linear edge. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy plum, crisp raspberry and more lightly fresh violet/fresh flowers combined with hints of cherry and a subtle hint of fresh liquorice, racy minerality and fresh blond tobacco. Good length. Fine mellow tannins.
