The nose is fruity and offers gourmandise, a slight concentration and a slight intensity (in the background). It reveals notes of crushed cassis and crushed wild strawberry associated with slight notes of blackberry, oak, Sichuan pepper and a subtle hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice minerality, an acid frame, freshness, a discreet / slight tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, wild strawberry and fleshy / juicy redcurrant combined with touches of cherry cream, toasted touches / vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization / sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Nice persistence. There is a subtle iodine hint on the aftertaste.
