The nose is spicy and offers some power and freshness. There are notes of grey pepper, tobacco and, more slightly, clove, combined with hints of pulpy blackberry, crushed strawberry and a hint of empyreumatic. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers acidity, tension, straightforwardness, fatness and a fine acidic frame. A hint of varietal in the background which brings dynamism. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and, more slightly, violet, combined with hints of crunchy cherry, chocolate, clove, as well as a touch of tobacco and a subtle hint of crushed almond.
