The nose is fresh, well-built and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of crunchy Boysen berry, ripe/crushed strawberry associated with touches of crushed cassis as well as fine hints of violet/varietal, Sichuan pepper and very discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, precision, tension, freshness as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, juicy/ripe raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with a hint of ripe cherry, violet as well as fine hints of tonka bean, toasted and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are well-built. A very discreet hint of crushed almond on the persistence.
