The nose is fruity, juicy, gourmand, elegant and quite complex. It reveals notes of candied black cherry, raspberry, blackberry and a hint of blueberry associated with a hint of spice, a discreet hint of grove, sweet spices as well as slight hints of toasted oak and a discreet note of cardamom. The palate is fruity, racy (terroir) and offers juiciness, precision, a good structure, fat, an acid frame and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blueberry, blackcurrant, Quetsche plum skin and cherry associated with a hint of raspberry, blueberry as well as a fine hint of cardamom, graphite and wood. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
