Viberti Giovanni – Nebbiolo 2015 – Langhe

The nose is precise, structured and offers a good finesse of the grain, elegance and a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, small berries / elderberries and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with a touch of fleshy blueberry, zan as well as discreet hints of sweet spices, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of dry local vegetation. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a good definition, a beautiful juiciness / freshness as well as gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, black cherry and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of elderberry, zan, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of cardamom, olives black, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of laurel (in the background). Tannins are slightly dry. The finish is suave. Good length and persistence. The persistence is gourmande and offers notes of hazelnut, caramelization, chocolate, toasted notes and juicy fruit. (2020)
