The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of red berries, wild raspberry associated with small touches of cassis as well as hints of violet, Sichuan pepper and fine hints of tonka bean. The palate is gourmand, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness, a fine tension, elegance, a good freshness, a good definition as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy blackberry and small notes of red cherry/juicy red fruits associated with touches of plum, chocolat, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of tonka bean and mild tobacco. Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet varietal hint in the background/on the finish.
