The nose is fruity and offers a slight minerality. It reveals notes of raspberries, cherries and slight touches of crushed blackberries combined with hints of chocolate, toasted oak as well as a hint of caramelization and Cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, round and offers a nice juiciness, a nice definition, tension, a bit aerial side, fat, a good suavity as well as a nice acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, ripe red berries and slight notes of cherry associated with a touch of fleshy Quetsche plum as well as subtle touches of wood, tobacco, racy minerality, spices and a touch of imperceptible tea hint (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Nice persistence. There is a hint of cocoa on the aftertaste.
